AMELLE: HOW REHAB SAVED MY LIFE
The Daily Star, UK

After enduring death threats and being described as a “danger to herself”, Sugababe Amelle Berrabah is back in business.

We are delighted to report that the sexy Sugababes star is out of rehab and ready to move on.

The 25-year-old singer flies back to Britain on Thursday following a 20-day spell at a private German heath clinic after docs diagnosed nervous exhaustion and said she was a danger to herself.

Following daily sessions with psychologists who specialise in extreme cases of bullying, Amelle says she’s “feeling better than ever and ready to come home”.

Our source said: “Amelle is over the moon to be leaving the hospital at last.

“She feels like a new person and can’t wait to get back to work and put this sad situation behind her.

“The clinic’s programme includes acupuncture, as well as group therapy sessions, building up confidence and tackling insecurities.

“Amelle’s been doing a lot of exercise like hiking and running and said she’s in a good place.

“She’s ready to move forward with her life and get back to work with the band.”

The sensitive soul was terrified when angry fans posted cruel messages online and through the mail following the departure of former Sugababe Keisha Buchanan, 25.

But our source went on: “Now Amelle is really excited about getting to know the new Sugababe Jade Ewen.”

The babes are set to do a special fundraising gig for a blind charity as 21-year-old Jade’s parents have sight problems.

'I'm terrified of Keisha,' admits her Sugababes rival Jade Ewen
The Daily Mail, UK

Sugababe Jade Ewen has revealed that she is terrified of bumping into Keisha Buchanan.

The 21-year-old singer, who was brought in to replace Keisha, spoke of her concerns during an interview ahead of the group’s performance at this year’s Jingle Bell Ball. When asked if she has met Keisha, Jade said: 'No. I’m quite scared.

She added rather unconvincingly: 'I’m sure she wouldn’t do anything to me...'

Keisha left the band claiming that there was a breakdown in trust and a lack of communication when it was speculated that Amelle Berrabah would leave the group.

Jade added: 'One of the things I struggled with was being accused of being her friend beforehand and stabbing her in the back - but I’ve never met her in my life! Weirdly she sent me a friend request on Facebook a couple of weeks before this all happened and I was like, "Why would Keisha from the Sugababes add me?", and I sent her a message to say hi and never got anything back. Maybe it was a sign.'

Jade revealed that she nearly missed out on being in the group altogether when the other Babes - Heidi and Amelle - changed their mind at the last minute and decided to give Keisha another chance.

She said: 'I can remember getting ready to get on the plane and the girls changed their mind and said they were going to do whatever it took to make it work with Keisha. I was really upset but I kept my suitcase with me just in case they changed their minds!'

Thankfully for Jade, another row within the group sealed her fate. One person who Jade is looking forward to getting to know is Amelle Berrabah - who returns to Britain tomorrow after a stint of rehab in Germany.

Amelle spent 20 days in the health clinic after doctors diagnosed her with nervous exhaustion.

This article seems to have been taken way out of context, but let's hope that the information about Amelle returning to the band tomorrow is true.

Just as we suspected, the release date of Sweet 7 has infact been pushed back to February 2010:

Official Website Updates
The official Sugababes website has been updated with a special message of thanks from Jade and Heidi to the fans who have supported them throughout the past few months. The girls have made it clear that they can't wait to start performing again, and you can see the footage for yourself over at Sugababes.com. Sadly, there are no updates on Amelle's progress in her illness.

The website has clarified that the release for About A Girl will definitely be November 9th, but there has been no mention of the album. Several reports are suggesting that the album has been dropped, but this seems highly unlikely, considering the costs of recording. Play are now listing the release date as February, but we can only be 100% sure when Island make some sort of statement.

More Rumours...
It seems like the drama never stops in Sugababes camp these days, and now we have a fresh rumour to prove it. According to several press websites, the reason the release date for Sweet 7 has been pushed back to February is because Amelle has chosen to leave the band, and Island Records are unsure of what to do next within the group.

Although I'd love to say this is completely untrue, you can never be sure what is going to happen when it comes to the 'Babes: who would ever have expected Keisha to be kicked out!?

However, another reason for the postponement of the new album could simply be down to Amelle's depression. She may not be ready to return to the stresses of work right now, and although there will be people out there who believe that it would have been more practical for Amelle to have left instead of Keisha, that has simply not been the case.

It is very important that the girls fit in as much promotion as possible in the lead up to the release of their new record, and if that means that it is held off until next year, then so be it. I'm sure we will all appreciate it in the long run when Amelle, Jade and Heidi are happily performing on stage again. A lot of money has also been spent on the recording of the new material - and on top of the re-recording charges for Jade - so of course Island are looking to make the best profit possible.

The website reporting the information regarding the pushing back of Sweet 7 are affiliated with Sugababes.com, so despite an official statement is yet to be made, it seems that the February release is infact true.

If V4.0 really do want to prove themselves as a band then I personally believe they'll stick it together until all is well - Amelle included. Otherwise, the Sugababes will be well and truly over.

News on the Sugababes Reunion
The press have been going mad lately with the possibility of a reunion of the original Sugababes; Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan. Despite the fact that Mutya seems keen on the idea, Keisha has posted on her Twitter account that sadly there won’t be a reformation anytime soon, but has thankfully hinted that she would glady team up with Mut on a collaboration in future.

Solo News from Mutya
It is with my greatest delight to announce that Mutya will be releasing a covers album in the spring of next year. A statement on Mutya Online reads:

I can exclusively reveal the title of Mutya’s upcoming covers album and it is The Sound Of Camden. She has recorded 5 covers of tracks by Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, The Pixies and possibly U2. Other unsigned artist will perform the rest of the songs. The album is set for release in Spring 2010.

Although this is just a side project, it'll be the first proper material we've had from Mutya since 2007's Real Girl, so this is big news for us fans! Her manager also recently confirmed that she has been working on her second studio album too, which is planned for release at the end of 2010.

For all of the latest news, check out the brand new version of Mutya Online, over at MutyaBuena.info.
